Wrought iron driveway gates in my days have always been icons of fine living. You know that you have usually arrived at a magnificent place when you are faced with these formidable entryways. While many of us associate wrought iron driveway gates with great wealth, you can nowadays find these elements in many places. You might even have always wanted a set for your own property.

I remember seeing wrought iron driveway gates for the very first time when I was a child. My grandparents lived in a gated community that was quite exclusive back then. I remember riding in the backseat of the car, excited to watch my father press the button to announce that had we arrived at my grandparents home. Magically, the wrought iron gates would open and we would enter the plan.

Back then as a child, the whole process was a source of wonder for me. It’s funny that my parents live in another gated community and my daughter now calls the big wrought iron driveway gates “magic doors to grandma’s home”. Kids can be so imaginative but occasionally the magic of childhood can stay with us all.
